@birkemose Thank you for your response. I tried SpriteBuilder and it is quite simple to use as well as intuitive. However, I don't see that nice feature that LH and SH have when it comes to defining physic shapes. There are physics nodes, but not a way to define the actual physic shapes with their associated properties. Am I missing something?
@collidernyc Thank you, I will look into it. I also expect LH/SH to have enough documentation, but as @guvidu says, it is still work in progress.
@guvidu I got SpriteHelper and LevelHelper a time ago to test them and try to get the feel on them. They felt nice with lots of features that are excellent to ease game development. The problem I see now is that Box2D has been replaced with Chipmunk in the 3.x version of Cocos2D, and that's what bothers me, because I got used to Box2D and it feels like it's more popular. I remember that SH/LH support Chipmunk (I'm not sure if it's supported as good as Box2D) but if there is some basic documentation on how to integrate physics with Chipmunk by using SH/LH then it is a sufficient starting point for me. Anyway, I'll take a look at the official SH/LH forums and ask any questions regarding them there, since this forum is mostly related to Cocos2D itself. Thank you very much for your response AND for developing such nice tools! I will PM you in a couple of weeks for the beta key you mention as soon as I start making tests and diving into the Cocos2D development.
