Are you asking if you can create scene programmatically?
Not exactly, the game was initially created using Cocos2d 2.x, but now it was ported to the version of Cocos2d used by SB since there is no other way to upgrade to the latest version of Cocos2d.
Now that the project was upgraded I would like to take advantage of the WYSIWYG editor to create the GUI, but I don't see any option to export content from SB, but only to add content to an already published project.
So, I wonder, if the only option I have is to create a new project from scratch with SB, and add all my customizations to the new project, would SB break all those customizations each time the project is republished, even with the same SB, and not an updated version?
My customizations include but are not limited to:
A script to convert all the images that are photoshop files to PNG
files in the built phase.
Changes to the cocos2d source to detect the image files suffixes used
by Apple (@2x for instance), instead of those used by cocos2d (hd for
Also my project has a script to create all the launch images from a
photoshop file in the built phase.
