So, there are lots of posts about converting files using afconvert, but it seems that whatever I convert ends up resulting in a file not found error when trying to run.
afconvert -f caff -d LEI16 S\&HForever.wav
Results in S&HForever.caf, which plays find via finder. After adding it to my project, I try to play it like this:
OALSimpleAudio *audio = [OALSimpleAudio sharedInstance];
[audio playBg:@"S&HForever.caf" loop:TRUE];
But I get this error:
-[CCFileUtils fullPathForFilename:contentScale:] : cocos2d: Warning: File not found: S&HForever_caf.wav 2014-06-07 09:47:06.628
UFOtesting[7343:70b] OAL Error: +[OALTools urlForPath:bundle:]: Could
not find full path of file S&HForever_caf.wav 2014-06-07 09:47:06.630
UFOtesting[7343:70b] OAL Error: -[OALAudioTrack preloadUrl:seekTime:]:
: Cannot open NULL file / url
If I just use the original wav file, it works just fine.
It's rather driving me a little batty this morning.
I've looked here:
and found a few related posts on this forum, but anything I convert seems to then not work when I try to play it in my project.
