I still have Cocosbuilder installed on my Mac for a project that still uses V2.1
I accidentally clicked on a sprite builder project, and it automatically opened in Cocosbuilder (as my Mac has Cocosbuilder set as the default application to open these files).
I closed Cocosbuiilder right away, and opened the project in Spritebuilder. But Cocosbuilder seems have broken the document.
I had two portrait scenes, and now in SB they are landscape and everything is positioned wrong (is there a way to change the orientation of a scene? Can't seem to find that option if there is).
It's not that big of a deal in my case, as I was just using SB for prototyping, but was still coding my UI. But if someone with a large project makes this mistake, unless they are using version control and discard, this could really ruin someone's day.
So my question is, is there anyway to switch a scene's orientation in SB? And is there a way to make SB documents identify themselves differently from CB documents? So a Mac can open a project in the right editor automatically.
