I would like to ask you guys for the ripple effect which was in the cocos2d versions before 3.0. Is there any kind of working implementation of this effect for a present version of cc2d?
I think you should just write a simple shader to achieve that. I don't remember if there is a dedicated CCEffect for that reason
I see that @birkemose wrote that it could be done using ccspritegrid extension but have to say that I don't have idea how to achieve this
You can try use this extension CCSpriteGrid and use code samples from cocos2d-x to see how it is implemented.`
