I want to use x2 resources and 568x320 point layout for iPhone6 without getting the extra space (as the point layout for iPhone6 would be 667x320)
As fiddling with the content scale factor is a quick way to insanity, I'd like to set the projection correctly.
There are a few different values to set:
Assuming the following:
- The GL surface is 1334x750
- contentScaleFactor = 2.0
- Using cocos2d we want to see the view as 568x320 points (1136x640 pixels)
Could @slembcke or @birkemose weigh in on the matter? It looks like the mac auto-scaling does something like this already, by changing the viewport only.
So maybe there is some easy way to achieve this?
