Hi, I have been developing my Cocos2D Mac game for over 6 months now, and I have still not been able to solve what seems like a simple problem. Currently, I have my frame set at 1024x576. When entering fullscreen mode, it scales correctly and fills any screen that supports its aspect ratio. The problem is that Cocos2D's fullscreen mode does not support sheet window overlays.
The somewhat-new Mac fullscreen mode that was introduced in 10.7 does support these window sheets. Currently, when displaying a sheet in my game for user input with textfields and other AppKit objects, I have the director switch to windowed mode. This is getting my game rejected from the company that will be selling it because of bad user experience.
When I enable the 10.7 fullscreen mode and enter that fullscreen mode. The game does not scale. It remains windowed and centered with Apple's fullscreen texture behind it. I need my game to scale for this mode of fullscreen like it does for the built-in cocos2d fullscreen mode.
I have a screenshot of this here: http://d.pr/i/fNYX
Also, I have this code in my delegate (It does not help for what I need done):
CCDirectorMac director = (CCDirectorMac) [CCDirector sharedDirector];
[director runWithScene:[Splash scene]];
For my game, I absolutely need to show a sheet or overlay window in a fullscreen mode. Cocos2d's fullscreen mode may not support these, but the one introduced in 10.7 does, and somebody, somewhere, most likely on these forums... may know how to do this. Thanks for any help.
