I was recently able to upgrade one of my cocos2d projects from v3.1.1 to v3.5 and am quite impressed with how easy it was.
However there is one issue that still plagues my game. Originally I had used the iphone5hd prefix for graphics that were slightly longer (in landscape width) than the iPhone 4 & 4S to better support the longer screen size of the iPhone 5 and beyond.
It seems that v3.5 has dropped the original support for the iphone5hd prefix in favor of simply setting it's content scale rather than pulling the image with the right prefix on iPhone 5 devices.
Does anyone know of a way to bring back the original functionality?
