Hello, I am trying to figure out how to manage a filesystem issue. I am using Cocos Denshion to play my sound effects. I released an early version of my app with all the audio files located in the appBundle. File access was easy:
[[SimpleAudioEngine sharedEngine] playEffect:[[NSArray arrayWithObjects:audioFile, @".caf", nil] componentsJoinedByString:@""] pitch:1 pan:0 gain:.85];
Now I am integrating an Apple-Hosted inAppPurchase bundle of new sounds, and they will be used along with the original set of sounds. They are stored in a few different directories like this, for the respective bundles:
My question is this: How does Cocos / CocosDenshion scan for files? Can I simply add the subdirectories of /library to some sort of environment variable to search for files? Or do I have to develop some system of managing all the different filepaths? What is the best practice for this type of file access?
Thanks for any help regarding this!
