My game is almost finished and the last thing I did was add Game Center. I followed this tutorial: http://www.raywenderlich.com/23189/whats-new-with-game-center-in-ios-6
The problem is, it seems that whenever I receive a memory warning (shortly before I receive it, to be precise), "CONNECTION INTERRUPTED" appears in the debug console. I assume this is Game Center disconnecting. It is very hard for me to avoid these memory warnings at loading screens, even when my game is using only 60MB the memory warning still pops up (I am testing on an iPod 4).
The major problem with this, is that when I later try to submit the player's score, if the connection was interrupted the game will start stuttering / lagging like crazy for about 5-10 seconds. After that, assuming the connection isn't interrupted again, I can submit the score again without stuttering.
I searched around and found it strange that nobody else seems to complain about this, is this normal? Any help is much appreciated, thanks!
