I'm using TP with Jelly Squares in SB without any problems. But only one thing - I re-publish everything in TP after I publish in SB. Well, sounds not really, but it's just a 3 simple clicks.
Reading pvr.ccz in CB is an option, but it would be not really useful, because every time u need to add just some images or change them - u should republish all sprite sheet in TP, thats sucks. Because if for example on my scene I have a lot of sprites and change some of them I just want WYSIWYG right now, but not after I forced to republish texture.
Also, yes of course - forcing to use paid tools is bad idea. So, current packing in CB or SB is idea for the most games. If you want to pack more tiny, with NPOT u can use TP afterwards, so no problems here at all.
