I used Spine quite successfully back in 2.x but it is not working with v3. Excuse the cross-post, but I did also post on the Spine forum. I wonder if anyone else is trying to use Spine?
The symptoms are that
-(void) draw is called and the debug bones render but the actual sprites do not.
I had to hack Spine's run-times to work with v3 - and maybe I messed up. In particular the class CCSkeleton is a bit problematic: it used to be
@interface CCSkeleton : CCNodeRGBA<CCBlendProtocol>
and since CCNodeRGBA is gone in v3 I changed it to
@interface CCSkeleton : CCNode<CCBlendProtocol>
so maybe it lost something in translation? Also the shaderProgram property is gone in v3. I tried setting _shaderProgram inside CCSkeleton.m (it asserts if I don't) but I'm not sure if that's right.

I haven't given up on it yet, and I really don't have the option of going back to v2.x to get Spine working.
