Mine too. I've been refreshing the thread every day
We love you, @birkemose!
Because of all the love, the fix is now live
Can't thank you enough!
Very awesome! I will try this out on a live app instantly.
But did anybody get this error when compiling with arm64:
kazmath/src/neon_matrix_impl.c:93:15: Unknown register name 'q0' in asm
@tettoffensive, Git is fixed now, and download link will be as soon the the changes ripples through.
@birkemose, Thanks for the quick turnaround, this is great!
Download link is fixed.
Thanks @birkemose!! You rock.
I got problem with new cocos 2.2, after upgrading I got not working "\n" in my CCLabelTTF. Label just don't draw any text after any first "\n". How this can be fixed? This happened even just enable 64bit arch in project and fix "extern CGFloat __ccContentScaleFactor;" to extern float..
I can ignore these deprecated methods, however I can't ignore not drawing label text after "\n"
Which version are you upgrading from?
2.1 to 2.2.
@kamikaze Have you tried fixing the deprecations? These are deprecated in iOS 7.
Nope. Because even if method depracted it will work. The problem after enabling 64bit with cocos probably in another place, so I waiting for official response.
The deprecations are the same as they always has been, but as you will need to update your target to a newer version of iOS when compiling for 64 bit, you might also get more warnings about that.So your options will be to fix them manually, or not worry until iOS9 or 10 actually breaks the app.
You probably don understand what I say in previous post. Let me say again in another words: just start new empty project with 2.2 and create cclabelttf like "bla bla\n ololo". And compile this project for let it be ios 6 and 64bit, and you will see only text: " bla bla".
Yes, but that is because your min iOS requirement is 6.0 or something, and some label stuff will be deprecated. Back in the 2.1 days, the min requirement would have been 4.0 or something.2.2 is not intended as a final version you can use for new development. It is only intended to help you get your 2.x app to survive after february 2015.
