I agree. Support for iPad Pro is essential going forward. My new app, due out next week supports the iPad Pro natively. I don't have one, but my artist does and he reports that it looks terrific on it. Most of my drawing is dynamic via CCDrawNode, so my pre-rendered assets didn't need to be 'pro' sized as such.
For other apps this would not be the case. Regarding the sizes of the images I don't think this should be an issue given the good work being done to support assets and app thinning (which I plan to take advantage of in the future).
I would also like to see native support for the TV resolution, especially in SB. At the moment it is a complete pain that I can't layout a scene using the correct screen resolution. I'm sort of getting it done by using normalized size/positions but that only works to a limited degree. I'm tending to hand-code stuff far more for the TV.
