just wanted to show you a component I have built. It allows running sprite animations without manually loading the SpriteFrames and creating CCActions. Can save a lot of code if you have many animations in your games.

Looks good, though my only complaint is you hardcode the naming convention.All my assets are BLAH0000.png, BLAH0001.png.
